DevOps Engineer

Salary: $75,000 - $130,000


Position Overview

We are seeking a DevOps Engineer with a strong automation mindset to help streamline infrastructure, improve operational efficiency, and build scalable deployment processes. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex problems through automation, scripting, and modern DevOps practices. The ideal candidate has experience with Python, PowerShell, automation, cloud technologies, and data-driven scripting, and is comfortable working across systems, networking, and infrastructure to improve reliability and reduce manual effort.

What You’ll Do

DevOps & Automation

  • Design, develop, and maintain automation using PowerShell and Python
  • Build reusable scripts and workflows to automate infrastructure, deployments, and operational tasks
  • Create tools that simplify repetitive processes and improve team efficiency
  • Analyze datasets and develop automation to support reporting, monitoring, and operational decision-making
  • Continuously identify opportunities to eliminate manual processes through automation

Systems & Cloud

  • Deploy, configure, and support Microsoft 365, Azure, Active Directory, and Windows environments
  • Assist with cloud migrations, endpoint management, and infrastructure modernization
  • Support virtualization, identity management, and hybrid cloud solutions
  • Troubleshoot complex server, endpoint, and cloud-related issues

Networking & Infrastructure

  • Configure and support networking technologies including switches, wireless, VPNs, DNS, DHCP, and routing
  • Participate in infrastructure upgrades, deployments, and migration projects
  • Work closely with engineering teams to ensure reliable, secure, and scalable environments

Collaboration & Project Delivery

  • Participate in infrastructure and automation projects from planning through implementation
  • Create and maintain technical documentation and deployment procedures
  • Collaborate with engineering, infrastructure, and security teams to deliver high-quality solutions
  • Share knowledge and mentor team members on automation best practices


Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Systems Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, or Automation
  • Strong Python programming experience
  • Advanced PowerShell scripting and automation skills
  • Experience building automation workflows and managing large datasets
  • Experience with Microsoft 365, Azure, Active Directory, and Windows Server
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across systems, networking, and cloud technologies
  • Working knowledge of networking fundamentals including DNS, DHCP, VPNs, switching, and routing
  • Strong documentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Azure Automation, Azure DevOps, or GitHub
  • Experience with APIs and automation integrations
  • Experience with endpoint management and large-scale device administration
  • Previous MSP or multi-client environment experience
