automation, CI/CD, containerization, and observability , while bringing
Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) best practices into action.
Roles and Responsibilities Design, build, and maintain automation pipelines to support application development. Implement Docker containerization (dockerfiles, docker builds, docker compose, registries, kaniko, devcontainers). Manage and optimize Kubernetes environments from the application development side (CKAD certification preferred). Drive GitOps workflows using tools like ArgoCD or Flux . Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Github Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Bitbucket, etc.). Implement strong observability practices monitoring, alerting, and dashboarding using Datadog, Grafana, Loki, Prometheus, ELK, OpenTelemetry . Perform Linux administration , scripting, and troubleshooting (bash, shell scripting, common commands). Collaborate with developers to enhance reliability, scalability, and performance of applications. Must-Have Skills Expertise in Docker & Kubernetes (application development side). GitOps tooling experience (ArgoCD or Flux). CI/CD expertise (Github Actions or Azure DevOps preferred). Observability tools Datadog or similar. Strong Linux administration & shell scripting . Nice-to-Have Skills Knowledge of Node.js, TypeScript, Go, or Python . Kubernetes Administration (CKA certification) . Advanced Linux / Ansible experience. Basic Terraform exposure.
