Introduction

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our team for a 6-month onsite role in Sunnyvale, CA. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in IT industry, particularly in Cloud computing, Linux environments, and DevOps implementation. This role requires managing multiple projects simultaneously and providing best solutions with a proactive approach.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 8-10 years of experience in IT industry with expertise in Cloud Infrastructure Automation, DevOps, and Linux administration.
  • Proficiency in Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform, Ansible, Jenkins, and Linux.
  • Experience with containerization and container management tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Strong skills in scripting languages such as Bash, Shell, and Python.
  • Prior work experience at client or in client's Industry.

Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in developing front-end systems with JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
  • Familiarity with build management tools like Ant and Maven.
  • Experience in supporting database systems including Oracle, MySQL on Linux/Unix, and Windows environment.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Work on multiple projects simultaneously, focusing on Cloud and Linux environments.
  • Orchestrate deployment and management of Docker Containers using Kubernetes.
  • Automate build and deployment processes using Jenkins and scripting languages.
