Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to join our engineering team in Alpharetta, GA. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in cloud infrastructure, CI/CD automation, containerization, Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and monitoring. This role requires close collaboration with development, QA, and operations teams to build, deploy, and maintain highly available and scalable applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application deployment.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/CloudFormation).
  • Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Manage cloud infrastructure on AWS (preferred), Azure, or GCP.
  • Monitor system health, performance, and availability using modern observability tools.
  • Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, networking, and application issues.
  • Collaborate with development teams to improve release processes and deployment automation.
  • Implement security best practices across cloud environments and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Maintain configuration management and version control practices.
  • Support production deployments, incident resolution, and performance optimization.

Required Skills

Must Have

  • Strong experience with AWS Cloud Services (EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, RDS, EKS, CloudWatch)
  • Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes
  • Expertise in Terraform or CloudFormation
  • Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools
    • Jenkins
    • GitHub Actions
    • GitLab CI/CD
  • Experience with Linux administration and shell scripting
  • Proficiency in Python or Bash scripting
  • Experience with Git and version control workflows
  • Strong understanding of networking concepts (DNS, Load Balancers, SSL, VPN)
  • Experience implementing monitoring and logging solutions

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Kubernetes Helm Charts
  • Experience with ArgoCD or FluxCD
  • Knowledge of Istio or Service Mesh
  • Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Datadog
  • Familiarity with SonarQube, Nexus, or Artifactory
