Introduction
We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a DevOps / Platform Engineer. This role is essential for delivering repeatable builds and deployments, managing environment separation, handling secrets, and ensuring baseline observability for applications and batch jobs running in the cloud environment, specifically Azure and Kubernetes.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- At least 10 years of experience in leading a team in a DevOps environment.
- Strong knowledge in CI/CD, containerization including Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience in scaling virtual environments.
- Proven experience in leading a team and interfacing with client stakeholders.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Experience in partnering with clients to build roadmaps, implementation plans, and status reports.
- Experience in the design and implementation of DevOps practices.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Java, Perl, Bash, PowerShell, and Python.
- Prior work experience at the client or in the client's industry.
Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with Azure DevOps.
- Understanding of secrets handling in cloud environments.
- Experience with baseline observability tools.
