We are seeking a Test Engineer Level 1 to support the testing and validation of mission-critical geospatial applications and Java microservices within the Intelligence Community. The ideal candidate will have experience with automated and manual testing, Python, and software quality assurance.
Required Responsibilities
Develop test strategies, test plans, and test cases
Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts
Perform manual, regression, and performance testing
Identify, document, and track software defects
Collaborate with developers to ensure software quality
Create and maintain test documentation
Support continuous improvement of testing processes
Required Qualifications
Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph
2+ years of Test Engineering experience supporting programs of similar scope and complexity
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (four additional years of Test Engineer experience may be substituted for the degree)
Strong Python programming experience for test automation, framework development, and CI/CD integration
Ability to mentor junior Test Engineers
Desired Skills
Experience testing geospatial applications, Java microservices, and RESTful APIs
Test automation with Selenium, JUnit, or similar frameworks
Performance testing using JMeter, Gatling, or similar tools
Knowledge of geospatial analysis and visualization
Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills
Ability to work independently and take ownership of testing efforts
