Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented DevOps Test Automation Engineer to join our team! In this role, you will hone your skills in a fast-paced environment working with a collaborative team. This position is part of a team that supports USCYBERCOM's internal command IT systems, including one-of-a-kind cyberspace operations systems. The successful candidate will have a solid IT networking background and be a key contributor.
What You'll Be Doing:
Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and DevOps infrastructure supporting USCYBERCOM mission systems and cyber operations platforms.
Develop, integrate, and optimize automated testing frameworks and validation pipelines to ensure reliability, security, and performance of mission-critical software systems.
Support lifecycle management of cyber capabilities by building, deploying, and sustaining scalable infrastructure across development, and test environments.
Evaluate emerging DevOps tools, containerization technologies, and automation frameworks, providing recommendations for integration into existing mission environments.
Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system architecture diagrams, test plans, CI/CD workflows, and operational procedures.
Collaborate with software developers, cybersecurity analysts, and mission stakeholders to translate requirements into testable engineering and deployment solutions.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Active TS/SCI w/Poly
10+ years of experience in DevOps, Software Engineering, Software
Experience designing, building and maintaining large-scale CI/CD infrastructure
Experience using common source control or CI/CD frameworks (i.e. Gitlab, MinIO, Bitbucket, Jenkins)
Experience supporting integration, deployment, and validation of software systems in multi-environment (dev/test/ops) pipelines
Experience using cloud virtualization platforms like vSphere or ARIA
Experience developing and maintaining automated testing frameworks like Robot framework, Pytest, and GoogleTest.
Experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash, Powershell)
Experience utilizing Podman/Docker
Advanced verbal and written communication skills with a focus on the creation of technical documentation for testing
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
Development Test experience or Cyber Security Engineering
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Software Engineering, or related discipline
Knowledge of cross-compilation and experience building/using them on various architectures (PPC, MIPS, x86, ARM, RISC-V, etc.)
Experience with management products like Jira and Confluence
Extensive experience parsing user stories or requirements to create testable objectives and measures of performance that will lead to fully tested software products
GIAC Cloud Security Automation Certified or equivalent cybersecurity/DevOps certification
Security Clearance Requirement:
An active Top Secret SCI w/Polygraph security clearance is required for this position.

Salary Range: $125,100.00 - $225,200.00
