Description Acara Solutions is seeking a DFT & SoC Integration Engineer (DFT & SoC Focused, Client-Facing, Technical Lead Role) to join our client on a Full Time Direct Hire Fully Remote Pay Range: $180k - $200k annually with 10% bonus Fully Remote We are seeking a DFT & SoC Integration Engineer - Technical Lead with strong expertise in Design-for-Test (DFT) and SoC design flows to support complex IC development efforts from planning through production. This role emphasizes back-end DFT integration, cross-functional coordination, and client engagement, rather than direct RTL coding or front-end design. You'll operate as an informal technical lead, helping to shape architectural strategy, proposals, and execution plans-while collaborating closely with clients, internal teams, and stakeholders. Provide technical guidance and leadership on ASIC/SoC programs, with a focus on DFT planning and implementation Support client discussions, requirements gathering, and proposal development (including technical strategy and estimation) Define and review DFT architectures and methodologies, including MBIST, scan insertion, ATPG, boundary scan, and JTAG Collaborate with physical design teams on floorplanning, timing closure, and integration of test logic Work with verification engineers to ensure robust DFT verification and validation Coordinate across internal teams (design, verification, test, physical design) and external clients to align execution plans with system-level require Support mixed-signal and digital integration activities in complex SoC environments Job Requirements Required Skills / Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field 10 years minimum of experience in integrated circuit design (or 8+ years with a Master's degree) Aleron companies (Acara Solutions, Aleron Shared Resources, Broadleaf Results, Lume Strategies, TalentRise, Viaduct) are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
