Description

This role is responsible for the execution of end-to-end customer digital touchpoints for the brand (i.e., email, push notifications, text messages, loyalty offers and rewards, etc.) inclusive of both brand communications and 1:1 marketing initiatives that drive frequency and retention.

KEY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Works in partnership with the Principal Product Manager and brand marketing team to supplement the brand content calendar with 1:1 marketing initiatives that drive incremental sales, improved customer retention and restaurant level profitability.
  • Manages messaging campaign set-up, segment creation, email templates, coordination with creative, and reviews campaign-level results. Serves as subject matter expert for the marketing deployment platforms and day-to-day contact with vendor support teams.
  • Manages loyalty and offer set up, requiring coordination with menu data teams and quality assurance testing.
  • Manages customer database, understands the brand's key segmentation strategy, and develops tactics to activate each segment to drive sales and traffic for the brand.
  • Analyzes key campaign metrics, translates analytics into insights and makes recommendations for national offers and test and learn strategies, including A/B testing to optimize campaign performance and drive incremental sales.
  • Drives restaurant sales, customer retention, frequency and life-time value through the successful creation and execution of member segmentation and targeting strategies as well as overall member promotion strategies.
  • Leverages data and analytics to make decisions and prioritize projects and initiatives.
  • Troubleshoots any issues that may arise related to communication and offers.
  • Performs other related duties, tasks and responsibilities as required, assigned and directed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education - Bachelor's degree or equivalent, preferably in Business Administration with emphasis in marketing, analytics and intelligence, technology/information systems or communications.

Experience -3-5 years experience in marketing with expertise in email/CRM marketing, digital marketing, lifecycle management, attribution and project management. Restaurant or retail marketing experience required. HTML experience is a plus. Previous experience with platforms such as Braze, Punchh, mParticle and Amplitude.

  • Ability to analytically view marketing effectiveness as it relates to overall sales and competitive trends
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with attention-to-detail
  • Ability to extrapolate customer purchase/engagement behaviors, trends, history to segment and target cohorts of the database
  • Ability to determine sales causation based off of attribution models and campaign reporting
  • Must be able to work effectively within all levels of the organization, including senior leadership
  • Working knowledge of personal computers and related Microsoft software applications (Word, Excel) and advanced knowledge in project management platforms, such as JIRA
  • Demonstrates integrity and ethical behavior

Physical Requirements - Ability to speak/hear clearly in person and on the telephone. Ability to operate a computer keyboard. Ability to travel up to 25% of time to restaurants or other locations as business needs require.

The range for this position is $83,000 - $116,200 and is based on an employee located at our corporate headquarters in San Diego. If the candidate is hired in a different city to work remote, we will apply a geographic pay differential based on the cost of labor in the market in which the employee resides.
