Position Overview

Dhaka Technologies Limited is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Business Systems Analyst to support a client. The selected candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, enhancing, and maintaining Tableau dashboards and analytical reporting solutions using Microsoft SQL databases and other enterprise data sources.

This role requires a strong combination of business analysis, data visualization, stakeholder management, and project coordination skills. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Tableau dashboard development, requirements gathering, data analysis, and cross-functional collaboration with technical and business teams.

The successful candidate must demonstrate excellent communication skills, strong ownership mentality, and the ability to independently manage priorities, timelines, and deliverables while producing high-quality dashboards aligned with client and supervisory expectations.

Key Responsibilities

Tableau Dashboard Development

• Design, develop, test, and deploy new Tableau dashboards and analytical reports based on business and operational requirements.
  
• Maintain, enhance, troubleshoot, and optimize existing Tableau dashboards to improve functionality, performance, and user experience.
  
• Ensure dashboards are accurate, visually effective, and delivered within established timelines and quality standards.
  
• Work with Microsoft SQL databases and other enterprise data sources to support reporting and analytics initiatives.
  

Business Analysis & Stakeholder Management

• Conduct meetings with internal clients, business users, and stakeholders to gather requirements, collect feedback, and understand reporting needs.
  
• Present dashboard prototypes, drafts, and progress updates to stakeholders and supervisors.
  
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications and actionable development plans.
  
• Document meeting notes, business requirements, action items, project updates, and technical processes.
  

Data Coordination & Technical Collaboration

• Coordinate with IT teams, Database Administrators, GIS teams, external vendors, and other technical stakeholders to identify relevant data sources, tables, and fields.
  
• Validate and analyze data to ensure consistency, integrity, and reporting accuracy.
  
• Support workflow analysis, process improvement initiatives, and reporting standardization efforts.
  

Project & Task Management

• Independently create work plans and manage assigned projects and deliverables.
  
• Track tasks, timelines, priorities, and progress according to supervisor expectations.
  
• Ensure all deliverables meet internal client requirements and organizational quality standards.
  
• Demonstrate accountability, professionalism, and proactive communication throughout project execution.
  

Requirements

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or a related field; equivalent professional experience may be considered.
  
• Minimum 5 years of overall professional experience in IT or related disciplines.
  
• Minimum 2 years of Business Analyst experience.
  
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in Tableau Dashboard Development.
  
• Experience working with Microsoft SQL databases and enterprise data environments.
