- Serve as the lead technical expert and architect for the NC DHHS Enterprise Data Warehouse.
- Provide advanced support for the design, implementation, and maintenance of complex Oracle and SQL Server databases.
- Leverage extensive experience with database platforms and tools, including Oracle, SQL Server, and DB2 (10+ years).
- Deploy and manage databases on cloud platforms (OCI, AWS, or Azure) and perform cloud-native monitoring, backup, and recovery (5+ years).
- Integrate on-premises and cloud databases using tools like Oracle Data Integrator, AWS DMS, or Azure Data Factory (5+ years).
- Plan, execute, and optimize data cloud migration projects, including data pipelines and storage in the cloud (5+ years).
- Support applications on multiple platforms and technologies such as IBM Mainframe, Sun Solaris (UNIX), and Linux OS (up to 10+ years).
- Migrate mainframe-based data to modern relational databases like Oracle or SQL Server (5+ years).
- Write, debug, and optimize Unix Shell scripts to automate tasks and manage Unix-based environments (10+ years).
- Utilize programming and scripting skills with C/C++, SQL, stored procedures, FTP, and encryption/decryption tools (10+ years).
- Apply extensive knowledge of ETL, structured system development methodologies, data transfer, and interface methodologies (10+ years).
