Job Summary: Automation Tester NC Dept of Health and Human Services (DHHS) Managed Care Transition Project
- Perform QA and automated testing for critical systems supporting the Managed Care Transition Project. - Assess testability of requirements; develop and maintain test cases based on business and design documentation. - Execute functional, integration, and regression test cycles. - Develop, script, and maintain automated test suites (preferably using TOSCA). - Write, review, analyze, and report on test results to ensure software quality. - Create and execute SQL queries for validation and verification purposes. - Test web applications and healthcare claims processing systems. - Utilize test and defect management tools (HP ALM, JIRA preferred). - Collaborate with business and technical teams to ensure comprehensive user acceptance testing. - Work independently with minimal supervision, manage concurrent deadlines, and prioritize tasks effectively. - Document business and QA processes as needed. - Communicate clearly both verbally and in writing with technical and business audiences. - Apply Agile methodology practices to QA activities. - Demonstrate proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). - Local candidates only.
