AS A REGISTERED NURSE, DIABETES EDUCATOR, you will be responsible for assessment and evaluation of the diabetes patients needs and formulate a respective care-plan. Educate diabetes patients, both in patient and outpatient, on self-management techniques. Provide up-to-date information on diabetes education to entire nursing staff.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- A Registered professional as listed under the required professions by the national certification board for diabetes educators, preferably a registered nurse licensed in the commonwealth of PA required
- Five years experience in clinical nursing with ability to demonstrate knowledge of diabetes management preferred
- Certified diabetes educator credentials preferred
