We are seeking a skilled professional to ensure the accurate, timely, and reliable evaluation of Radiology procedures, equipment, and staff. This role prioritizes activities that directly impact customer service, serving employees, Medical Staff, patients, and regulatory agencies.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will maintain confidentiality of patient and hospital information, comply with hospital policies, and demonstrate the ability to perform CT procedures as requested by referring physicians. Adequate radiation safety practices and effective communication with referring physicians and radiologist staff are essential for the efficient delivery of CT procedures.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Maintain confidentiality of patients and hospital information.
  • Comply with all hospital policies and procedures pertaining to incident reporting.
  • Perform other related duties as required.
  • Demonstrate the ability to perform CT procedures as requested by referring physicians.
  • Demonstrate adequate radiation safety practices for both patients and co-workers.
  • Participate in all Radiology Management System functions related to patient procedures.
  • Provide patient education as required.
  • Maintain effective communication with referring physicians and radiologist staff to ensure efficient delivery of CT procedures.
  • Abide by the service delivery standards of the Department of Diagnostic Imaging & Radiology in interactions with patients, visitors, employees, or other customers.
  • Adhere to appropriate and accepted clinical principles, methods, and procedures while performing CT procedures.

  • Required: ARRT (CT), NYS Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist License with Injection Registered, BLS
