The Diagnostic Imaging Technologist I is responsible for performing general diagnostic imaging and therapeutic procedures for outpatient, inpatient and emergency/trauma patients. Other responsibilities include positioning and transferring patients and providing immobilization devices; performing portable x-rays and portable C-Arms; administering opaque media to patients under direction of physician; and practicing sterile techniques and preventing cross-contamination.
