Our Client, a Healthcare company, is looking for a Diagnostic Mammography / Radiology Technologist for their King City, CA location.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Perform screening and diagnostic mammography procedures in accordance with established protocols
  • Ensure proper positioning, image quality, and adherence to ALARA radiation safety principles
  • Review physician orders and coordinate imaging exams with radiologists and other imaging modalities
  • Track and retrieve prior mammography images for comparison and interpretation
  • Provide patient education on breast health and self-examination
  • Serve as a technical resource for breast imaging, quality control, and equipment operation
  • Advocate for patients by coordinating care to minimize inconvenience and delays
  • Participate in departmental committees and assist with outreach and mammography service promotion
  • Support Bone Density exams and assist with CT, General X-Ray, and Fluoroscopy/OR procedures as needed
  • Take call as assigned and perform other duties as required
 
Requirements:
  • ARRT registration in Radiography and Mammography
  • Active California Radiologic Technologist License
  • Active California Mammographic Technologist License
  • Active California Fluoroscopic Radiologic Technologist License
  • American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Certification
  • California Venipuncture Certificate (required within 3 months of hire)
  • Minimum of 5 years of mammography technologist experience
  • Minimum Years of Experience: Less than 1 year
