At CHCP (The College of Health Care Professions), we’re looking for a dedicated Diagnostic Medical Sonography Instructor to inspire, mentor, and prepare students for success in a rapidly evolving healthcare field.
In this role, you’ll create a dynamic, student-centered learning environment where students can build the knowledge, confidence, and skills needed to thrive in their careers.
Deliver competency-based instruction aligned with CHCP’s curriculum model
Design and implement engaging, innovative learning experiences
Provide personalized instruction and evaluation to support student success
Foster a positive, collaborative classroom environment that promotes engagement
Offer timely feedback and support, helping students overcome challenges
Maintain accurate records and actively participate in faculty meetings and campus initiatives
Integrate real-world sonography experience into classroom instruction
Stay current with industry trends and advancements
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to build strong connections with students
Adaptable teaching style to meet diverse learning needs
Strong lesson planning, organization, and classroom management skills
Passion for education and commitment to student success and growth
Proficiency in educational technology and openness to innovation
Strong problem-solving skills and dedication to continuous improvement
Associate’s degree in a related field (required)
Required registries: AB, OB/GYN, and RVT
Minimum of 3 years of full-time sonography experience
Demonstrated teaching or instructional skills
Highly organized, confident communicator, and passionate about education
