About the Facility Location Bethesda, Maryland offers a range of cultural and entertainment attractions for clinicians on assignment. Notable destinations include Strathmore, Round House Theatre, local art galleries, and the LEGO Discovery Center. The area also features a diverse dining and music scene, highlighted by the annual Taste of Bethesda festival held each October. About the Clinician's Workday The diagnostic radiologist will provide 100% remote body radiology interpretation services covering chest, abdomen, and pelvis studies for inpatient and emergency department cases at facilities in Bethesda, Maryland and Washington, D.C. Weekend coverage is required, with 8-hour shifts on Saturdays and Sundays during the following windows: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM, or 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM. Primary responsibilities include interpreting diagnostic imaging studies across plain film, ultrasound, CT, MRI, and nuclear medicine modalities, with an expected caseload of 80 cases per day (55 ED and 25 inpatient), including approximately 26 CTs, 13 ultrasounds, 45 X-rays, 1-2 MRIs, and 1 nuclear medicine study.
