This is a full-time Diagnostic Radiology Technologist position with a rotating shift from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, which includes working every fourth weekend from 5:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Holidays are rotated equally among the team. Must have general radiology skills and experience with fluoroscopy and OR C-arm procedures.

Job Description:

Performs diagnostic radiographic procedures for radiological diagnosis, in a timely fashion, while demonstrating the appropriate knowledge and skills necessary to work with patients from pediatric through geriatric. Follows physician's instructions, prepares and operates equipment and positions patients correctly in order to record the requested diagnostic images. Displays leadership characteristics by volunteering for improvement initiatives and intra/interdepartmental committees, seeking new ways to improve team collaboration and success, functioning as a subject matter expert, and acting as a mentor to assist in team development and coaching. Advanced responsibilities may include acting as an onboarding/orientation preceptor, serving as clinical instructor for students, providing and leading annual CE opportunities for team members, acting as the operations leader during the absence of a team lead/supervisor.

  • Basic Life Support certification, required.
  • Requires active status as a Registered Technologist - Radiography, RT(R) through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Requires current Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) license as Radiologic Technologist.
  • 3-5 years experience as a radiology diagnostic technologist, preferred.
  • Requires ability to maneuver equipment and improvise positions when the condition of the patient does not permit routine positioning.
