Dialysis Biomedical Technician - Acute Detroit - 40 hours/week

GENERAL SUMMARY:
- Primarily responsible for the maintenance of dialysis equipment, including preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and general care of the machines.
- Travels to any of the GHS units as needed.
- May participate in on-call rotation for technical aspects of acute dialysis program.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Associates degree in electronics/biomedical technology, or two years' equivalent experience, to include military, original equipment manufacturer (OEM), or industry recognized technical training program, required.
- Proven mechanical aptitude and analytical skills for understanding electronic circuitry and for trouble-shooting biomedical/electronic equipment. Proven use of basic electronic testing equipment. Completion of a B.M.E.T. internship is preferred.
