Responsibilities
Provide high-quality dialysis care and monitor patient status during treatments.
Develop and follow individualized dialysis treatment plans with patient input.
Accurately document treatments, vitals, and patient responses in the EMR.
Ensure strict adherence to infection control and safety protocols.
Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care and transitions.
Identify and escalate patient concerns or deviations from treatment promptly.
Meet or exceed defined productivity targets and contribute to pipeline-based planning.
Engage in professional development activities to advance clinical skills and knowledge.
Educate patients and families about dialysis treatment, self-care, and safety.
Maintain equipment readiness and report maintenance needs for dialysis systems.
Document and communicate treatment outcomes to support performance-based evaluations.
Adhere to on-site workflow, location-specific procedures, and shift schedules.
Experience/Qualifications
Current RN license with active/valid dialysis certification or permit.
Minimum 1–2 years of in-center dialysis nursing experience.
Proficiency in Medicare/EMR documentation and dialysis treatment records.
Strong infection control practices and patient safety focus.
Ability to develop and follow individualized dialysis treatment plans.
Excellent communication skills for patient education and family engagement.
Ability to meet productivity targets and contribute to pipeline planning.
Competence in equipment readiness, troubleshooting, and maintenance reporting.
Willingness to participate in ongoing professional development and skill advancement.
On-site, shift-based work with strict adherence to site procedures and schedules.
