Die Cast Setup Operator - 2nd Shift

We’re seeking candidates for Die Cast Setup Operator roles on the 2nd shift. Compensation for these temp opportunities ranges between $22.00-$28.00 per hour, depending on skills and experience. What you will do as a Die Cast Setup Operator:

• Ensure part quality is in accordance with inspection report
• Perform complete set up of die cast machines and trim presses
• Monitor and document all aspects of set up to minimize production down-time
• Accurately complete reports and all necessary paperwork
• Utilizes the 5-S principles (sort, set in order, shine, standardize, and sustain) to maintain an orderly, clean and safe work area
• Participate in CIP events to improve the safety, quality, and efficiencies of our current processes and procedures
• Support and positively contribute to a culture of continuous improvement

What you need to be a Die Cast Setup Operator:

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• 1+ years of manufacturing experience preferred
• Forklift and crane operator certifications
• Ability to use hand tools and air powered tools, etc.
• Ability to follow work instructions
• Must be detail oriented, with the ability to recognize defects and non-conformities
