    Die Cut Operator - 1st Shift (6:00 am - 2:30 pm)

    Location: Pleasant Prairie, WI 53158

    Position Overview

    The Die Cut Operator role is an entry-level manufacturing position responsible for operating and maintaining die cut machinery with minimal assistance under the direction of the shift lead. This position requires a strong understanding of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures at LMI Packaging to ensure high-quality output and efficient production.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Operate and maintain the die cut machine following established procedures and safety guidelines.
    • Perform daily die cut duties including setting up the die cut scale, retrieving and returning tubes and boxes, pulling lids, loading and unloading rolls, and adjusting die cut registration.
    • Complete in-process inspections to ensure product quality meets company standards.
    • Follow detailed work instructions and control die-cut quality throughout the production process.
    • Perform simple math calculations as needed to support production tasks.
    • Accurately complete skid tags, daily paperwork, and material return tags.
    • Clean and maintain the die-cut machine to ensure optimal operation.
    • Use and understand the scanning system to document all labor and downtime accurately.

    Skills & Qualifications

    • Entry-level manufacturing experience or willingness to learn.
    • Ability to follow detailed instructions and work under minimal supervision.
    • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
    • Basic math skills to complete simple calculations.
    • Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
    • Familiarity with scanning systems or ability to quickly learn new technology.
    • Physical ability to handle materials and perform machine setup tasks.
