Die Cutter Operator

Position Overview

A leading specialty packaging manufacturer is seeking an experienced Die Cutter Operator to join their production team. The ideal candidate brings hands-on die cutting experience, a sharp eye for quality, and a commitment to safe, efficient operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and adjust die cutting equipment to produce packaging components within specification
• Perform makeready and changeovers between job runs with minimal downtime
• Conduct in-process quality inspections for dimensional accuracy, cut quality, and registration
• Monitor machine performance and make real-time adjustments to maintain production output and quality
• Perform routine preventive maintenance and assist with minor mechanical troubleshooting
• Maintain accurate production records and communicate downtime or defect issues to supervisors
• Adhere to all safety protocols, 5S standards, and GMP requirements on the production floor

Requirements

• 1+ years of die cutting operation experience in a packaging, printing, or manufacturing environment
• Ability to read and interpret job tickets, machine settings, and quality specifications
• Mechanical aptitude and comfort making hands-on machine adjustments during production
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
• Availability to work assigned shift in Peachtree City, GA

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with rotary or flatbed die cutters in a folding carton or corrugated environment
• Familiarity with specialty carton or packaging production processes
• Experience in a lean manufacturing or continuous improvement environment
• Forklift certification a plus
