Basic Function:
Responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting dies and fixtures before, during, and after production to ensure top performance and long tool life.
️ Key Responsibilities:
- Build new die components
- Identify needed parts and coordinate orders
- ️ Maintain and sharpen dies as needed
- Update tool repair records
- Recommend improvements to tooling
- Troubleshoot tooling issues during production
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- ️ Completed state-indentured Tool amp; Die apprenticeship OR 6+ years non-indentured tool amp; die experience
- Minimum 3 years building, maintaining, and troubleshooting progressive tooling
- Journeyman Card in Tool amp; Die
