    Description

    Overview

    We are hiring 6 Die Makers. This is for a ground up design and build shop for large OEMs. As a Die Maker, you will play a crucial role in the manufacturing process, creating high-quality dies that meet our production standards.

    Responsibilities

    • Design and fabricate dies for various manufacturing processes.
    • Set up and operate machining tools such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders.
    • Cut, shape, assemble, spot, and draw dies
    • Shim, file, weld, polish, and understand tight tolerances
    • Inspect and test dies to ensure they meet specifications and quality standards.
    • Collaborate with engineers and production teams to optimize die designs.
    • Maintain and repair existing dies to extend their lifespan and functionality.
    • Document processes and maintain accurate records of work performed.
    • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized workspace.

    Qualifications

    • High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in machining preferred.
    • Proven experience as a Die Maker or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
    • Strong knowledge of machining processes and tools.
    • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
    • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
    • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.

    You should be proficient in:

    • Metal Stamping & Forming (Progressive Die)
    • CNC Machine Setup & Changeover
    • Tool/Die/Mold Repair Skills
    • Blueprint Reading
