SUMMARY: Responsible for machine setups, including primary and secondary equipment, mold changes, and emergency repairs.
Essential duties include proper die setup, repairing leaks, die insert changes, die pulling and resetting, and managing die storage and supplies.
Ensures initial shot of die sets, completes paperwork, and adheres to safety and company policies.
QUALIFICATIONS: Requires minimum one year experience in plastic injection molding, mold setup knowledge, and familiarity with machine controls.
Skills include reading instructions, basic math, problem-solving, and effective communication.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Regular standing, handling, forklift operation, lifting up to 45 pounds, and visual focus.
WORK ENVIRONMENT: Indoors in a manufacturing setting, exposed to moving machinery, heat, vibration, and moderate noise. Reasonable accommodations available.
