Are you an experienced Progressive Die Setter who takes pride in precision, quality, and keeping production running at peak performance? What You'll Do

  • Set up progressive dies, feeds, and stamping presses for maximum efficiency and quality.
  • Load and unload dies and coil stock while preparing presses for production.
  • Perform first-piece inspections and verify setups meet quality standards.
  • Use precision measuring equipment including calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, height gauges, and optical comparators.
  • Read blueprints and setup documentation to ensure accurate production.
  • Monitor production, troubleshoot press and die issues, and make adjustments as needed.
  • Perform minor die repairs, machine repairs, grinding, and maintenance under established procedures.
  • Complete setup documentation and maintain production records.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Follow all OSHA, company, and departmental safety procedures.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum 3 years of Progressive Die Setting experience.
  • At least 1 year of experience using precision measuring equipment, including:
    • Digital and mechanical calipers
    • Micrometers
    • Height gauges
    • Dial indicators
    • Optical comparators
  • Ability to perform first-piece inspections and maintain quality standards.
  • Blueprint reading experience.
  • Experience troubleshooting stamping presses and progressive dies.
  • Towmotor (Forklift) certification or previous OSHA-approved certification required.
  • Strong math, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience using CMM equipment and Rockwell Hardness Testers.
  • Ability to perform minor die repair, flat grinding, rail adjustments, and machine repair.
  • Knowledge of progressive die principles and preventative maintenance.
 
1st Shift
Pay:$36.00–$40.00 per hour (Based on Experience)
Schedule: Full-Time | Overtime Available
