A Technician handles diagnostics, major repairs, and proactive maintenance of heavy-duty fleet vehicles, ensuring safety and reliability. Responsibilities include inspecting systems, repairing engines and brakes, managing records, supporting on-board technology, and responding to emergencies.
Requirements include 3+ years of vehicle maintenance experience, knowledge of electrical, air brakes, and suspension systems, a valid driver’s license, and ability to pass drug testing. Preferred qualifications include ASE or Powertrain Certifications and CDL with passenger endorsement.
