Job Description Job DescriptionProduction Technician II – Diesel Engine BuilderLocation: Parker, COSchedule: Full-Time | On-SiteCompensation: $23 to $25 per hour + overtime opportunityAbout the OpportunityWe are expanding our production team at our facility in Parker, CO.This is not a typical repair shop role.You will be part of a structured remanufacturing operation, where diesel engines are completely disassembled, inspected, rebuilt, and tested to meet or exceed OEM specifications. The work combines hands-on mechanical skill with precision assembly in a production environment.If you enjoy building something the right way and seeing a finished product leave better than new, this is your lane.What You'll DoAssemble heavy-duty diesel engines, including pistons, crankshafts, fuel systems, turbochargers, and emissions componentsFollow detailed blueprints, work instructions, and torque specificationsPerform precision fitting, alignment, and measurement of componentsConduct in-process inspections to ensure quality and compliance with OEM and EPA standardsPerform testing such as leak checks, pressure testing, and initial run-in proceduresTroubleshoot build issues and work with quality and engineering teams to resolve themDocument builds, serial numbers, and test results in digital systemsMaintain a clean, safe, and organized workstation aligned with 5S practicesContribute to continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiativesWhat Good Looks Like2 to 3+ years of hands-on engine assembly experienceDiesel engine experience strongly preferred, especially heavy-duty or Class 8Ability to read and follow technical drawings and assembly instructionsExperience using torque wrenches, hoists, presses, and diagnostic toolsComfortable working in a production or manufacturing environmentStrong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanshipWhat Will Separate YouExperience rebuilding engines, not just replacing partsFamiliarity with fuel systems, emissions systems, or turbochargersExposure to dyno testing or advanced diagnosticsExperience in high-volume or process-driven environmentsPhysical & Work EnvironmentAbility to stand for extended periodsLift up to 70 lbsWork in an industrial environment with noise and moving equipmentWillingness to work overtime or flexible shifts as neededCompensation & BenefitsHourly rate: $23 to $25Overtime opportunities availableBenefits begin the first of the month following 30 daysHighlights include:Medical plans through Cigna PPO network (multiple plan options including HSA eligible)401k with 100% company match up to 6%Health Savings Account with up to $1,000 in annual wellness incentivesCompany-paid life insurance and disability coverageDental, vision, and supplemental insurance optionsPaid time off based on tenureWhy This Role MattersThis team is building the foundation of a growing operation.The people brought in now will have the opportunity to:Develop advanced diesel engine expertiseGrow within a structured production environmentBe part of scaling a newly acquired division
