About the Role:
Join Enterprise Transportation Inc as a Diesel Mechanic Assistant and kickstart your career in the transportation industry! In this hands-on role, you'll work alongside experienced mechanics to ensure our fleet operates efficiently and safely.



Responsibilities:
  • Assist in diagnosing and repairing diesel engines and related systems.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes and filter replacements.
  • Help maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed.
  • Support the team in troubleshooting mechanical issues and conducting inspections.
  • Ensure tools and work areas are clean and organized.
  • Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment.
  • Collaborate with senior mechanics to learn best practices and techniques.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in diesel mechanics is a plus.
  • Basic understanding of diesel engine systems and mechanical concepts.
  • Previous experience in a mechanical or automotive environment preferred.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Willingness to learn and work as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
