The shift for this role is Tuesday through Saturday, from 7am to 3: 30pm. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Conduct and aid in the execution of trailer and general truck maintenance. Curial responsibilities entail, brake replacement, routine oil/filter changes, wheel seal upkeep, HVAC, electrical, and fuel systems. Identify and fix any major and or minor problems. Whenever training sessions and team meetings are held attendance is mandatory. Conducts a Neat, Clean, and Orderly work environment and uses all tools properly. Advises the Leadman/Shop Foreman if additional repair work is needed. Follows all safety protocols and company policy. Completes all necessary paperwork and documentation needed for each vehicle and fix action. Other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS Two years of heavy truck or diesel maintenance experience and/or degree from a trade school or technical school Own the required tools to perform position responsibilities. Physical requirements include: Near & midrange vision Hearing Ability to work alone and under stress. Walking, bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, pushing, pulling, twisting and reaching. Lifting Requirements: Lifting 50 lbs floor to waist Lifting 50 lbs floor to shoulder Lifting 50 lbs waist to shoulder. Carrying 50 lbs on a regular basis. Ability to use pneumatic tools. Using hands, wrists, elbows and shoulder for repetitive motion tasks. Ability to work in seasonal heat and cold; amidst noise, dust, and fumes. Must be able to climb a ladder up to heights of 13 feet.
