Location: Bow, NH | Pembroke, NH | Exeter, NH
Job Type: Full-Time / Permanent
Salary: $30–$40/hour, depending on experience
Earning Potential: Up to $120,000 annually with an efficiency incentive program

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Diesel Mechanic to inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of diesel-powered vehicles, including tow trucks, wreckers, and commercial vehicles.

The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, experience with diesel diagnostics and air brakes, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.

Key Responsibilities
Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues on diesel vehicles and equipment.
Repair or replace engines, transmissions, steering systems, suspension systems, and braking systems.
Develop repair plans based on diagnostic findings.
Perform preventative maintenance, including oil changes, alignments, wheel balancing, and brake inspections.
Utilize diesel diagnostic software and computerized systems to troubleshoot issues.
Perform air brake and hydraulic system repairs as needed.
Maintain accurate repair orders, service records, and parts inventory documentation.
Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe.
Communicate effectively with team members regarding repairs, timelines, and service updates.
Complete additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required.
Technical certification or formal training in diesel engine repair preferred.
Strong understanding of diesel engines, vehicle electrical systems, and mechanical components.
Experience using diesel diagnostic and troubleshooting software.
Experience with air brakes, hydraulics, or commercial vehicles is a plus.
Comfortable working with mechanical and electrical power tools.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with electronic vehicle systems.
Effective communication and teamwork skills.
Valid driver's license required.
