We’re looking for a hands-on, experienced Diesel Mechanic who knows their way around a garbage truck and takes pride in keeping things running. If you’ve got the skills and a solid work ethic, this role might be a great match.
+ Diagnoseand repair hydraulic, electrical, brake, suspension & air systems
+ Handle minor engine repairs and part replacements
+ Use onboard vehiclecomputer systemstotroubleshootand adjust controls
+ Respond to road calls andemergency repairs
+ Review and complete driver inspection reports
+ Log work using fleet maintenance software
+ Test drive trucks after service
+ Assist teammates and interact professionally with drivers
+ Keep your work area clean and OSHA compliant
+ Take on other duties as needed
What You Bring
+ 5+ years of hands-on experience in diesel/heavy truck fleet maintenance
+ Proficiency with diesel diagnostic tools and preventative maintenance
+ Hydraulic system expertise
+ Your own tool set
+ ASE Certification _preferred_
+ Class A or B CDL _preferred_
