Diesel Mechanic

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a range of diesel trucks, including tractors/trailers, heavy-duty trucks, step-vans, and pick-up trucks. Additionally, the mechanic will maintain and repair mounted contractor equipment on these vehicles.

Job Details:

• Position: Diesel Mechanic
• Location: Chicago, IL
• Pay: $25 - $30 per hour + overtime (Negotiable based on experience)

Essential Job Functions:

• Perform maintenance and repairs on diesel trucks of varying sizes.
• Maintain and repair contractor's equipment mounted on vehicles.
• Service and repair gas generators and compressors.
• Work with various types of equipment, including:
• CIPP Lining Boiler Trucks
• SuperVac, Vacall, Super Products

Requirements:

• Team-oriented attitude with a strong work ethic.
• Valid Driver's License required (CDL is a plus).
• Must have own tools.
• Ability to work efficiently and effectively.
• Solid understanding of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
• Ability to pass safety training exams and background checks.
• Safety-conscious, dependable, and quality-focused individual.
