Diesel Mechanic

Shift:

Monday - Thursday | 1:00 pm - 9:30 pm

Pay Rate:

$29.50/hr+, depending on your skills and experience

Position: Diesel Maintenance Technician (B)

Job Overview:

As a Diesel Maintenance Technician, you'll be responsible for the repair and maintenance of medium to heavy-duty customer vehicles and equipment (class 8 semis, forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.). Your primary duties will include performing preventative and corrective maintenance to ensure vehicle operations are efficient. You'll work independently with little to no supervision and must have your personal toolbox. Additionally, you’ll mentor and coach Diesel Maintenance Technician (C) teammates as needed.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Solid knowledge of repairing or replacing all structural, body, and mechanical parts of a trailer
• Proficiency in brakes, drivetrains, and engine components on tractors
• Strong electrical experience, with the ability to diagnose and repair all electrical systems, including emissions and engine components
• Basic computer entry (PC) skills

Minimum Qualifications:

• At least 21 years old
• Class A/B License preferred for certain positions
• Ability to obtain a DOT Medical Certificate
• DOT Brake/Annual Inspection certification
• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Clean driving record

Pay Range:

$29.50 - $32.60 per hour
