We are seeking Experienced Diesel Mechanics for our repair facility in Crestwood, IL, to repair our fleet of semi -trucks and trailers. Technicians should have a minimum of 3 years experience repairing heavy -duty trucks, trailers, or school/transit buses.

This position is primarily shop -based, with additional responsibilities that include roadside and field repair work as needed.

Key Responsibilities:<\/b>
<\/p>- Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and
electrical problems on heavy -duty vehicles and trailers.<\/span>
<\/li> - Perform routine
maintenance and repairs on diesel engines, including oil changes, filter
replacements, and system diagnostics; replace and repair major internal
engine components, transmission repairs, and rebuilds.
<\/li> - Perform DOT annual inspections on medium/heavy -duty
vehicles and trailers.
<\/li> - Use computer diagnostic equipment.
<\/li> - Conduct inspections and
tests to ensure vehicles and equipment are in proper working condition.
<\/li> - Maintain accurate records
of all maintenance and repair work performed.
<\/li><\/ul>

Qualifications:<\/b>
<\/p>- 3 -
5 years of experience working as a diesel mechanic
<\/span><\/li> - Proven
experience as a diesel mechanic, with a strong understanding of diesel
engine systems and components.
<\/li> - Proficiency
with diagnostic tools and equipment.
<\/li> - Strong
problem -solving skills and attention to detail.
<\/li> - Ability
to work independently and as part of a team.
<\/li> - Excellent
communication and organizational skills.
<\/li><\/ul>

Compensation:<\/b>
<\/div>$35 - $40/hr. Wage rang is based on experience level, certification and qualifications.

Shift:<\/b> Days, 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM Monday–Friday. OT paid after 40 hours. Should be flexible to work the occasional Saturdays.
