Compensation
- Hourly Pay $36.42-$40.89 per hour, based on experience.
- Overtime paid after 40 hours per week.
- Typical work week is 40-50 hours per week.

Work Schedule - Two schedules to choose from:
- Wednesday-Saturday, 2:00pm-12:30am, work until work is completed, usually 10-12 hours per day.
- Wednesday-Saturday, 6:00am-4:30pm, work until work is completed, usually 10-12 hours per day.
- Work schedule may change based on business needs; must be flexible with work schedule.
Responsibilities - Inspect, troubleshoot, diagnose, and perform preventative and as-needed maintenance of diesel trucks.
- Properly attend to truck inventory.
- Interpret and follow work orders and technical manuals.
- Travel to locations to perform on-site diagnostics, repairs, and routine maintenance.
- Communicate effectively with management, providing them with detailed breakdowns of service requirements and costs.
- Maintain schedules and document completed preventative maintenance and repairs.
- Repair or replace defective parts, components, or systems.
- Test repaired equipment for proper performance; ensure work meets manufacturer's specifications according to FMCSR (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations).
- Maintaining parts and yard organization (with direction from operations management) to ensure a clean and safe working environment.
Requirements - Minimum 2 years of previous technical experience with Class 8 Commercial Tractors and Trailers.
- Air Brake Systems Certification.
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot repairs using diagnostic systems
- ASE Certification is preferred.
- Knowledge of air, electronic, braking, and suspension systems as well as general mechanical operation and/or light body repair
- Familiar with FHWA (Federal Highway Administration), and FMCSR (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations), BIT (Basic Inspection of Terminals) inspections
- High School Diploma or GED (Preferred)
- Must be able to lift 70 pounds
- Candidate must provide his/her own tools.
