Pay: Mechanic: $18.00-$40.00/hour DOE | Helper: $18.00-$20.00/hour

Hours: Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM-7:00 PM or 7:00 PM-7:00 AM

Location: Frierson, LA

We're growing and hiring 10 team members to join our maintenance department! Whether you're an experienced Diesel Mechanic or looking to start your career as a Mechanic Helper, we have opportunities available on both day and night shifts.

We're looking to hire:

• 4 Diesel Mechanics
• 6 Mechanic Helpers

Diesel Mechanic Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair diesel engines and related mechanical systems
• Perform preventative maintenance and scheduled inspections
• Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical issues
• Repair or replace engines, transmissions, brakes, suspensions, and other major components
• Complete work orders and maintenance documentation accurately
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment

Mechanic Helper Responsibilities

• Assist mechanics with inspections, repairs, and preventative maintenance
• Gather tools, parts, and materials needed for repairs
• Clean and organize the shop and work areas
• Learn proper maintenance procedures from experienced technicians
• Perform basic maintenance tasks under supervision
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies

Qualifications

Diesel Mechanic

• Previous diesel mechanic experience required
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently and efficiently
• Experience with preventative maintenance and heavy equipment repairs is preferred
• Own tools are a plus

Mechanic Helper

• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
• Previous shop or mechanical experience is preferred but not required
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
• Ability to lift, carry, and work in a physically demanding environment
