Job Details

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to support maintenance and repair operations in Quincy, WA. This role is responsible for ensuring the reliability, safety, and performance of both heavy equipment and fleet vehicles.

What you’ll be doing:
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and related systems
Diagnose mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and troubleshooting techniques
Conduct vehicle and equipment inspections to identify potential problems
Repair or replace components including hydraulics, shocks, and struts
Perform tire service including mounting, balancing, and alignment
Utilize hand tools and power tools for repairs and fabrication
Maintain accurate service records, including repairs and parts used
Collaborate with team members to complete work orders efficiently
Operate forklifts and shop equipment as needed

What we’re looking for:
Strong hands-on experience in diesel mechanics
Knowledge of hydraulic systems and heavy equipment repair
Experience using diagnostic tools and electrical systems troubleshooting
Ability to fabricate parts/components when needed
Familiarity with tire service procedures
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Solid communication skills
