A local motorcoach company is seeking an experienced **Diesel Mechanic **to maintain and repair its fleet of motorcoaches. This position is responsible for preventative maintenance, diagnostics, inspections, and repairs to help keep vehicles safe, reliable, and road-ready. On-call availability is required.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance and scheduled service on motorcoaches
- Diagnose and repair diesel engines and related systems
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues
- Complete inspections and ensure vehicles meet safety standards
- Maintain accurate repair and maintenance records
- Respond to occasional on-call service needs
Qualifications
- Experience working on diesel engines and related systems
- Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently
- Experience using diagnostic software and repair tools
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Diesel mechanic certification or technical training is a plus
- Experience working on motorcoaches is preferred
- CDL is a plus
