Role Description This full-time, on-site Diesel Mechanic role is based in Madera, CA. The Diesel Mechanic is responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing diesel-powered vehicles and heavy equipment, including engines, transmissions, hydraulic systems, and electrical components. Day-to-day tasks include performing routine and preventive maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical issues, completing service records, and ensuring equipment is safe and ready for operation. The role involves using diagnostic tools, hand and power tools, interpreting technical manuals, and collaborating with operations staff to prioritize repairs. The Diesel Mechanic is expected to follow safety procedures, maintain a clean and organized work area, and support continuous improvement of maintenance practices.

• Relevant experience as a diesel mechanic or heavy equipment technician in a shop or field environment.

• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and work orders.

• Strong safety awareness and adherence to company and regulatory safety standards.

• Ability to lift and move heavy components, stand for extended periods, and work in varying outdoor and shop conditions.

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certifications in diesel technology or heavy equipment repair are beneficial.

• Valid driver’s license; a clean driving record and CDL are a plus.
