Heavy Equipment Maintenance Manager up to $125,000 Salary
Join SAVARD Personnel Group – where your skills are valued!We're seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Maintenance Manager to lead our in-house maintenance shop. This hands-on leadership role oversees heavy equipment maintenance, shop operations, mechanics, inventory, and preventive maintenance programs to maximize equipment uptime. Responsibilities
Lead and supervise shop mechanics and daily maintenance operations.
Diagnose and assist with complex diesel, hydraulic, and electrical repairs.
Schedule and prioritize repairs to minimize downtime.
Manage preventive maintenance programs.
Oversee parts ordering, inventory, vendors, and purchasing.
Track maintenance costs, work orders, and service records.
Coordinate equipment availability with operations.
Ensure OSHA compliance and maintain a safe, organized shop.
EquipmentLoaders, excavators, cranes, dozers, forklifts, skid steers, trucks, trailers, and other heavy diesel equipment. Requirements
5+ years of heavy equipment/diesel mechanic experience.
Leadership or shop management experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
Experience managing parts inventory, work orders, and maintenance records.
Computer proficiency and valid driver's license required.
