If you'd rather spend your day turning wrenches than sitting in a shop waiting on work, this is worth a look.

We're hiring a Mobile Diesel Mechanic to join a growing fleet service operation covering the Richmond area. You'll be issued your own well-equipped service truck (non-CDL) and handle repairs and maintenance directly at customer locations. Most jobs stay within about a 50-mile radius, so you're home every night.

This is a Monday-Friday day shift with a steady workload, strong leadership, and the freedom to work independently without someone looking over your shoulder all day.

What You'll Be Working On

• Preventive maintenance and inspections
• Diagnostics and electrical troubleshooting
• Engine, brake, suspension and steering repairs
• Air and hydraulic systems
• Fleet trucks, trailers and commercial equipment
• Mobile service calls at customer locations throughout the Richmond area

What We're Looking For

• Experience as a Diesel Mechanic working on medium and/or heavy-duty trucks
• Previous mobile or field service experience is strongly preferred
• Solid diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently and manage your own service calls
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
