Role Description The Diesel Mechanic role is a full-time, on-site position based in Olive Branch, MS, responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing diesel trucks and heavy equipment. Day-to-day tasks include performing routine and preventive maintenance services, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, completing repairs on engines, transmissions, brakes, and related systems, and documenting all work performed. The Diesel Mechanic will use diagnostic tools, hand tools, and shop equipment to ensure vehicles are safe, reliable, and compliant with relevant standards. The role also involves working closely with other team members and service staff to prioritize repairs, maintain a clean and organized work area, and support a safe shop environment.\n

- Strong skills in Diesel Mechanics with the ability to diagnose and repair diesel engines and related systems.

- Proficiency in Vehicle Maintenance and Preventive Maintenance to keep trucks and equipment operating safely and efficiently.

- Experience with Equipment Maintenance and Heavy Equipment, including inspection, service, and repair of commercial and industrial vehicles.

- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, service bulletins, and repair documentation.

- Familiarity with diagnostic tools, hand tools, and shop equipment used in truck and equipment repair.

- Attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Physical ability to perform tasks such as lifting, bending, and working in various shop conditions, with adherence to safety practices.

- Relevant technical training or certification in diesel technology or automotive/heavy equipment repair is preferred.

- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record; commercial driver’s license (CDL) is a plus.
