Pridestaff is currently seeking a Diesel Mechanic for our client located in Ontario, CA. This is a full-time, contract to permanent position with opportunity to grow. Our client has great benefits and a profit-sharing plan. Please see job requirements below to be considered.

  • Pay Rate: Level 1 - $18 - $24, Level 2 $24 - $27 (depending on skill level and experience)
  • Shift: Monday - Friday, 8am to 5pm
Job Duties: Ensure farming or heavy equipment are maintained and safe for our customers. Perform preventive maintenance services on farming or heavy equipment in a timely manner. Repairing and troubleshooting major components such as engines, transmissions and differentials, including replacing complete assemblies, turbochargers, fuel system components, etc. Keep your work area clean and safe. Experience with hydraulics a must.

Job Requirements:
  • Practical experience with farming and/or heavy equipment.
  • Vocational or technical certification in Diesel Mechanics (preferred).
  • Experience with tools of the trade (including welding equipment, diagnostic equipment, and hand and power tools).
  • Valid driver's license.
  • The ability to work well as part of a team.
  • Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.
  • Must be able to stand for extended period of times.
  • Must be able to bend, stoop, and lift-up to 50lbs.

Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $18.00 - $27.00 Per Hour
