We are looking for a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our busy, fast paced towing company. As the companies Diesel Mechanic, you will assist our team of drivers by diagnosing and repairing issues with trucks performance and function on a daily basis.
Qualified candidate must have an in-depth understanding of diesel tow trucks systems and components.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED is required
Associate degree or completion of an automotive service technician training program is preferred
Automotive Service Excellence/ASE certification or Society of Automotive Engineers/SAE certification is preferred
Strong customer service and communication skills are required
Must be able to work on Cummins, Rams, Fords 550 & 650 and Peterbilts.
MUST HAVE DIESEL MECHANIC EXPERIENCE!!
MUST LIVE within 20 miles of Saddle Brook New Jersey!!
Candidates are required to have their own tools.
Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00AM to 5:00PM
Responsibilities
Diagnose and repair shop owned trucks
Carry out routine vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil changes and brake pad replacements.
Conduct in-depth vehicle inspections of all systems, including engine, transmission, and brakes.
