Mobile Equipment Diesel Mechanic

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Mobile Equipment Diesel Mechanic to join a growing maintenance team in Sapulpa. This position will support operations during an approved employee leave of absence by maintaining and repairing a variety of diesel-powered mobile equipment used throughout the facility.

Although this role begins as a temporary assignment, there is strong potential for long-term or full-time employment based on business needs and performance.
Required Experience & Skills
Minimum 3 years of diesel mechanic or heavy equipment repair experience preferred
Experience repairing forklifts, skid steers, payloaders, loaders, or similar heavy equipment
Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills involving diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems
Ability to read and interpret service manuals, schematics, and technical documentation
Valid driver's license required
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Welding and fabrication experience is a plus
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on diesel-powered mobile equipment
Maintain and repair forklifts, skid steers, payloaders, loaders, and other heavy equipment
Inspect equipment to identify mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and diesel engine issues
Repair engines, drivetrains, steering systems, brakes, hydraulic systems, and electrical components
Complete maintenance records, work orders, and repair documentation accurately and on time
Ensure equipment remains safe, reliable, and operational
Collaborate with operations and maintenance personnel to minimize equipment downtime
Follow all company safety policies, environmental procedures, and OSHA regulations
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Preferred Qualifications
Heavy industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience
Welding and fabrication experience
Experience using diagnostic software and specialized repair equipment
Strong mechanical aptitude with excellent problem-solving skills
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, climbing, and working in various plant and outdoor conditions
Ability to safely operate hand tools, power tools, diagnostic equipment, and repair machinery
Comfortable working around heavy equipment while wearing required PPE
Work Environment
Industrial manufacturing facility with indoor and outdoor work areas
Hands-on maintenance environment supporting heavy mobile equipment
