We provide valuable and professional service to all of our established accounts.Based out of our Tamaqua location we are accepting applications for a qualified Diesel Mechanic / ShopForeman, who is willing to bring top notch skills and the ability to grow within an exceptional organization.Required Skills/AbilitiesExtensive knowledge of all aspects of commercial vehicle maintenance and repairExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to verbally communicate in a positive manner with co-workers to accurately solve issuesPrepare and maintain accurate records to track parts and labor to track costs and submit tomanagementAbility to solve the most minor issue to prevent costly repairs laterPerform all duties in accordance with best practices in mind for a safe work environmentOther duties as assignedEducation and ExperienceHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredExperience working with heavy trucks and equipmentValid CDL Driver's LicensePennsylvania Class 3 Inspection license (or willingness to obtain)RequirementsAbility to pass an extensive background check is required by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms & ExplosivesValid Commercial Driver's License Must have own toolsAbility to perform repairs off siteAbility to stand and work for an extended period of timeHave full range of movements including bending, reaching, crouching and be able to lift 75+ lbs.Work EnvironmentYou will be working in all weather conditions at times and exposed to loud noise and movingpartsRequired safety equipment will be provided with a yearly reimbursement for safety toe shoesCompensation will be discussed at the time of interview which includes an excellent health coverageplan; available (after 30 days of employment) medical, dental, eye and prescription.
