Diesel Mechanic- Shop Technician

We are seeking a Diesel Mechanic (Shop Technician) to join a close-knit team servicing commercial trucks and fleet equipment. This position is primarily shop-based and offers an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on diagnostic, maintenance, and repair work in a collaborative environment.

Lowell, MA $25.00-$40.00 per hour | Full-Time

Schedule

• Monday-Friday
• Typically 7:00 AM-4:30 PM

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel-powered trucks and equipment
• Perform preventative maintenance and inspections
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
• Complete repairs safely and efficiently
• Maintain accurate service records and work orders
• Support a clean, organized, and safety-focused shop environment

Qualifications

• Previous diesel mechanic experience preferred
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Must provide basic mechanic hand and power tools
• Specialized tools are provided by the company

Compensation & Benefits

• $25.00-$40.00/hour, depending on experience
